The International Digital Energy Expo (IDEE SZ) 2023 will be held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian) from June 29 to July 2. With seven professional exhibition areas, five thematic forums, and three special events, IDEE SZ strives to build a world-class expo for digital energy and a green, efficient, flexible, intelligent, and sustainable modern energy system.
The Information Office of Shenzhen Municipal Government held a press conference to brief on the preparations for IDEE SZ 2023 on June 5. Among the attendees were Yu Jing, deputy director of the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and second-class inspector, Chen Jian, deputy general manager of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid, and Li Baohua, secretary general of Electrochemical Energy Storage Industry Alliance for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen).
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) proposed to "work actively and prudently toward the goals of reaching peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality", "thoroughly advance the energy revolution" and "speed up the planning and development of a system for new energy sources". Guided by the "concept-, industry- and technology-lead" principle, Shenzhen Municipality and China Southern Power Grid aim to build a comprehensive expo with a complete industry chain and multi-scenario demonstration of the new power system, integrating international foresight and practicability. IDEE SZ 2023 will focus on global cutting-edge technologies and practices in the field of digital energy, promoting the all-round application of new production methods centered on data and driven by digital technology in the energy field. This world-class independent expo brand in the global digital energy field will help advance the construction of a green, efficient, flexible, intelligent, and sustainable modern energy system.
Themed "Creating A Green Future With Digital Energy", IDEE SZ 2023 is organized by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Energy Bureau of Guangdong Province, and the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and hosted by China Southern Power Grid, Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid, and China Southern Power Grid Media with guidance from the National Energy Administration, the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and the China Electricity Council. It will offer seven professional exhibition areas, five thematic forums, and three special events. Over 400 organizations from more than 100 countries (regions) have confirmed their participation.
